develop, manage and advise a SkillsUSA chapter in their school or classroom.

Marsha Daves Biography
Marsha Daves is the Director of Training Membership and Programs at the
National SkillsUSA Office in Leesburg, VA. She moved to Virginia from
Oklahoma where she served as the Oklahoma SkillsUSA Director for over 18
years. As state director, she helped develop the national SkillsUSA
award-winning Professional Development Program and accompanied four US teams
to international competition.
Marsha was named VICA Director of the Year by her peers in 1994 and received
Honorary Life Membership in SkillsUSA in 2001. Prior to her move to
Virginia, she served as a Career Cluster Coordinator for the States’ Career
Cluster Initiative and had the opportunity to work with many career and
technology leaders across the nation as well as many business and industry
partners.
She is very passionate about training and believes CTSO’s exist for one
reason – to assist teachers and advisors to help their students be
successful.
